  • Maintain strong floor presence and lead by example in service standards.
  • Actively assist FOH during peak hours: host, run food, bus tables, process payments, and restock.
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism and follow up on feedback.
  • Monitor online reviews, provide internal feedback on trends.
  • Coordinate with BOH leadership to ensure smooth communication and timely service.
  • Oversee customer communication channels (email/phone), ensuring timely responses.

FOH Team Management & Training

  • Foster a positive team culture and uphold a respectful, professional environment.
  • Manage dress code enforcement and monitor shift communications via Slack.

  • Ensure comprehensive training in service, food, beverage, and upselling.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings and quarterly 1-on-1 check-ins.
  • Review sales performance metrics weekly with ownership (guest check averages, tip percentages).
  • Facilitate onboarding: training schedules, paperwork, compliance (e.g. Food Handler, ABC), system access (Toast, 7Shifts).

Facility Oversight

  • Enforce cleanliness standards and opening/closing checklists.
  • Coordinate daily orders for service items (glassware, paper, etc.).
  • Report and follow up on maintenance and pest control issues.
  • Scan and submit food invoices for accounting.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar leads on updates, specials, and seasonal changes.
  • Maintain consistency in item availability and minimize errors/typos.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Capture photo and video content for social media use.
  • Support monthly events such as supper clubs, large parties, and holiday specials.
